Preston's only surviving windmill is heading to auction this week.

Serving as an amazing reminder of our city's industrial history, Craggs Mill is a Grade II listed building and is close to Uclan and the Preston Police station.

The mill was constructed in 1760 and was original a corn mill before becoming a piano workshop, overflow prison, garage and war-time cinema!

Planning permission had previously been applied to turn Craggs into a series of apartments, however this lapsed and the building is back on the market.

Asking price for this wonderful property is thought to be between £60,000 and £70,000.
